Primoco UAVs (Primoco) announced today that BioConsult SH, the Germany-based European leader in ecological research and consultancy, has placed an order for two Primoco One 150 aircraft. The medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles will be fitted with dedicated sensor equipment to carry out nature preservation research and monitoring missions across Europe and are scheduled for delivery in 2025. With the signing of the agreement, Primoco continues to expand its footprint in European uncrewed market segment and increases its current order book.
"The order by BioConsult SH is another proof of the versatility of our unmanned solutions, following the recent sale of two aircraft for flight calibration of navigation equipment to a customer in Asia and a successful testing in cooperation with T-Mobile of drones to provide cellular signal coverage in crises situations when land-based signal towers are out-of-work," said Ladislav Semetkovský, CEO of Primoco UAV.
BioConsult SH based its decision to opt for Primoco UAV aircraft on the Czech company's advanced certifications and permits. "We were also impressed by the results of operational tests that Primoco carried out in the Czech Republic and Denmark. Now, with the support of Primoco UAV and using its extensive training capabilities, we will be pursuing our own operational certificates," said BioConsult SH CEO Georg Nehls, adding that the contract with Primoco UAV stretches beyond the aircraft purchase to form a broader cooperation between the two companies.
